Channel Futures Unveils Its Top DE&1 101 Professionals for 2022

RCS Professional Honored on 2022 Channel Futures DE&I 101 List

The List Recognizes Individuals Working to Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Technology Channels

Sept. 22, 2022: One of the honorees on the 2022 Channel Futures DE&I 101 list is Esther Deutsch from RCS Professional Services. The list honors people from a variety of cultural backgrounds who, by their words, deeds, and leadership, are advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion (DE&I) through technology channels.

“Being included on the Channel Futures DE&I 101 list for 2022 is a great honor for me. We at RCS are extremely proud of the work we have accomplished, but there is still much to be done. Thanks for your support, Jeffrey Tebele! And a huge thank you to our incredible RCS team, without whom our successes would not have been possible.” –Esther Deutsch

The Channel Futures DE&I 101 is a ranking of the most well-known figures in the technology sector who are committed to enhancing the performance and creativity of their companies by building the most inclusive, equitable, and diverse teams and workspaces. The Channel Futures DE&I 101 participants are the ones who are pioneering by demonstrating to the business community at large and the technology sector how effective DE&I strategies may affect business outcomes.

The technology and communications sectors have long recognized the importance of DE&I. However, although a variety of digital companies have drawn notice of the DE&I initiatives they've introduced, it's the grassroots activists who spark change and maintain momentum. So that the entire channel can benefit from their achievement, the Channel Futures DE&I 101 acknowledges senior, mid-level, and future leaders.

“Diversity, equity, and inclusion are vital for the future of all business, not just the channel,” said Kelly Danziger, vice president and general manager, of Informa Tech Channels. “But despite its importance, most DE&I work goes on behind the scenes. This list not only recognizes those dedicated individuals who are working to promote DE&I in the channel but reiterates the importance of this work as well.”

Our social media and the Channel Futures website both invited nominations for the DE&I 101 list. Individuals could submit nominations for either themselves or other people between April 28 and June 27. Managers, leaders, and individual contributors were all eligible to apply. The editorial team at Channel Futures and the members of our advisory board carefully examined each contribution.

“When Channel Futures inaugurated the DE&I 101 list last year, we wanted to help elevate those who were having a profound impact on their organizations, those who were developing sound DE&I strategies, and leaders who were vocal about making change, “said Robert DeMarzo, vice president of content, Informa Tech Channels. “The response by the entire channel has been incredible. We’re providing a forum where members of the technology and communications channels can exchange ideas, educate themselves and reach out to help others. We welcome all voices.”

Voice Cloning – A Growing Cybersecurity Threat

Challenges emerge in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity, just when one believes they have a firm grasp on managing diverse digital risks. We would like to shed light on a rising concern known as voice cloning. This advanced technique employs artificial intelligence (AI) to replicate an individual's voice and manipulate it to articulate any desired message. However, as we delve deeper into this technology, it becomes apparent that its implications carry significant risks. The dangers associated with voice cloning are increasingly being acknowledged, prompting a need for heightened awareness and vigilance.
